Just a reminder to tune in tonight at 9PM EST to watch a special on E! about Kendra, Hank, and baby Hank! I will be recording it tonight and have caps of it after it airs! Don’t forget to watch it!! ![]() Kendra & Baby Hank featured on OK Magazine CoverThursday, December 17th, 2009
Photographed in the hospital at two days old, baby Hank “has so much hair,” Kendra, 24, exclaims. “He definitely takes after me with that. And he has Hank’s lips. He looks like both of us.” For additional photos and the full interview, pick up the latest issue of OK!, available in major cities today. Congratulations! How are you feeling? Kendra Wilkinson: Thanks. I have labor brain. I forgot everything that happened. Hank Baskett: I am in straight awe, trust me. How did you prepare for coming to the hospital? KW: The good thing about being induced is that it’s like planning a trip, just very calm. We ate a huge dinner before we came to the hospital. I ate a whole batch of brownies because I was nervous. No wonder he’s 9 pounds! What happened at the hospital? KW: I was induced early in the morning; then it was wait, wait, wait. I was experiencing contractions throughout the day, and I was anxious. I kept checking the monitor every second, like, “Is it happening yet?” Everything was going perfectly. Everything I ever dreamed of: snow for his birthday, all the family was here. I was set on having him [vaginally], but after hours of waiting, nothing. Finally, the doctor said, “We’re going to have to do a c-section.” I just started crying. Then my whole family cheered me up. I was like, “All right. Let’s just get this done.” Hank, how did you handle the news? HB: It was rough. I know how bad Kendra wanted to deliver naturally, and it hit her hard. But she knew that whatever the doctor said was best for her and the baby. Once she realized that, she was like, “Let’s move it up. Let’s get it over with.” How did the actual delivery go? KW: Every second I was like, “Is he okay? Is he okay?” And finally I hear Hank go, “Here he comes! I see his head!” That was the best thing I’ve ever heard. He comes out, and I hear his little cry, and the doctor’s like, “Nine pounds, 5 ounces. He’s a linebacker! This boy’s a linebacker!” How was holding him for the first time? KW: I just started crying. I was like, “Oh my God, it’s the happiest day of my life!” I was just in heaven. HB: I was as nervous as I could be holding him, because I’ve never really held a newborn before. What were your first words to him? KW: Happy birthday, Hank. HB: I just said, “I love you so much.” I couldn’t stop saying, “I love you.” How are you recovering? KW: I’m still really sore and healing from the c-section. That’s the only thing that stinks: I can’t really do my mama things ; changing him, getting the bottle ready. I need help because I can’t go that fast. — Celebrity Baby Blog Holly Madison on Kendra Wilkinson’s Baby: Time to Shop!Friday, December 11th, 2009Holly Madison figures her friend Kendra Wilkinson is going to be busy with a new baby, so she’s taking it upon herself to help with the shopping – a lot of shopping. “I’m out buying presents for little Hank today,” she told PEOPLE on Friday at the “Holly Jolly Christmas Toy Drive” in Las Vegas to benefit Toys For Tots and The Salvation Army. Among the gifts for Hank Baskett IV in the overflowing cart: Christmas onesies, a football-shaped piggy bank, a Nerf football and a football piggy bank.
Madison, who hasn’t yet spoken to her former Girls Next Door costar since the birth, said she’s more than willing to take on babysitting duties when the couple comes to her home in Las Vegas. “I will totally watch the baby,” she says. “I would love to.” ?????? ?? ?? People.Com Kendra Wilkinson Welcomes Son Hank Randall IVFriday, December 11th, 2009Look what Kendra Wilkinson found under the tree this year! The E! star and her NFL-player hubby Hank Baskett welcomed their first child together, son Hank Baskett IV, at 12:37 a.m. Friday in Indianapolis. The wee one was delivered via C-section, weighing a robust 9 pounds, 5 ounces. (He is a football player’s son, after all.) “We’re happy and healthy and enjoying every second with little Hank,” the proud parents exclusively tell E! News. Hank, 27, and Kendra, 24, swapped vows in June in a glamorous ceremony at the Playboy Mansion, where the bride called home for four years—and where she met Hank (at the Playboy Scramble) in 2008. Two of Kendra’s bridesmaids and former Girls Next Door costars, big spender Bridget Marquardt and Peep Show star Holly Madison, have also been eagerly awaiting the arrival of their pal’s little boy. “I can’t wait to meet little Hank!” Holly told E!. “I am so excited for Kendra and Hank. They are going to have the best holiday ever!” “This is what I call a Christmas gift that will keep on giving (and taking…lol)!!!” Bridget said in an email to E! News. “I wish both of them and little Hank Jr. a lifetime of joy and happiness! The only things I wonder…Can I help plan the birthday parties and how will they top this gift next Christmas???” Added Kendra’s other onetime roommate, Hugh Hefner: “I send my love to Kendra, Hank and the baby on this memorable day.” And they’ll take it. After Hank was picked up by the Indianapolis Colts, the couple and their two dogs, Rascal and Martini, relocated from Philadelphia and are now living in the same gated community as Indiana Pacers star Jermaine O’Neal, though they plan on house-hunting in L.A. so that they can live there in the off-season. “I never in my wildest dreams thought that little Hank would be born in Indianapolis,” Kendra told the Indianapolis Star. “People come up to me, but it’s very different,” she said of living in the decidedly low-key (lower than L.A., at least) capital city. “They’re not all up in my grill. They’re very caring. Everybody’s been so helpful.” Not that living in a town full of kind strangers has changed the former Playmate’s ribald sense of humor. “I told Hank, ‘Do you know what you’re getting in your stocking this Christmas?’” she joked. “Not coal—well a little bit of that—but condoms. A whole lot of condoms. I want a little girl. In a couple of years.” — E! News Kendra can’t wait to Introduce Baby Hank to her DogsFriday, December 4th, 2009Kendra Wilkinson can’t wait for the arrival of her son with Hank Baskett this month. Exclusively in the new issue of OK!, Kendra shares all of her last-minute baby details and how she is preparing for little Hank’s arrival! How is it being pregnant on TV? How are you getting ready? How will your dogs react? Holly Madison gets annoyed by New Girls Next DoorTuesday, November 10th, 2009Holly Madison first strutted into the spotlight as the number one girlfriend of Hugh Hefner and star of the “Girls Next Door,” but since packing away her Playboy bunny ears for the sights of Sin City, she’s not bothering to watch the new season of the E! series which features Hef’s new leading ladies Crystal Harris and the Shannon twins. “I had a great time with Hef and the girls when they came to see ‘Peepshow’ and hang out in Vegas. I don’t watch the other episodes though, because it kind of makes me mad,” Madison told Tarts. “The girls need to focus on what makes them unique and not doing the same things Bridget, Kendra and I have already done on the show. Even camping in the backyard was an idea I had for an episode that we never got around to shooting. And guess what they just showed? The girls camping in the backyard. I don’t want to look behind, I want to look forward.” Ouch. (However according to Nielson data, the show featuring the new ladies is totally killing it and was the most-watched season premiere in the show’s history, with 2.4 million viewers.) But back to the subject of moving forward, Madison is filming her very own reality show which will give the world a glimpse into her life as a Vegas showgirl and a “major life project nobody would expect her to do.” The buxom blonde is also busy bearing those infamous boobs six nights a week in her ongoing burlesque “Peep Show.”
And it seems the 29-year-old couldn’t be happier being known as Holly Madison rather than a girl of the Playboy Mansion.
Holly Madison from The Girls Next Door to Vegas Mayor?Monday, October 26th, 2009Yes, Holly Madison is taking over Las Vegas. With her numerous shows there everyday, it seems like the Girls Next Door star just doesn’t want to leave. Conversely, this reality TV celebrity actually wants to lead. She expressed her ambition on an interview with the Toronto Star recently, joking around and revealing her career goals. The 29-year-old Playboy model announced that she could probably delve into politics. “I want to be the Mayor of Las Vegas,” she announced. “I’d be really good at it.” After you pick up that jaw of yours from the floor, let’s put things into perspective. It definitely is a surreal statement coming from someone who bared her body as she graced the pages of a men’s magazine. But even then, she was already the cause of many jaws dropping. Right now, however, Holly Madison is focusing her efforts on Peepshow and is just appearing on several shows in Las Vegas, such as the upcoming Hollyween. Sometimes she just hangs around with her former co-stars on The Girls Next Door. Why? Well, she has a very, very flexible schedule thanks to Peepshow.
With so much time in her hands, the reality star has harbored many dreams. There’s one part she’s hoping to play, but with her luck she’ll probably get to do it in the near future.
Still, that doesn’t mean she’s leaving her political aspirations behind. Even though she hasn’t started running for mayor, Holly Madison already has a campaign slogan for herself: “Less traffic, more fun.” Whether she’s serious or not remains questionable, but it’d still be quite a shock to have Hugh Hefner’s former No. 1 girlfriend running a whole city. Pregnant Kendra Wilkinson talks about getting a pregnant buttThursday, October 22nd, 2009In an interview given exclusively to PopEater, Kendra Wilkinson and her husband, NFL star Hank Baskett speak with In Touch Weekly about the highly anticipated arrival of son Henry Baskett IV. As a Playboy model, Wilkinson was used to being ogled for her body. But now, seven months pregnant with a protruding belly, the former ‘Girls Next Door’ star has an understanding of what it means to feel beautiful on the inside, too. “The reason I feel so beautiful is not because of my looks, it’s because of my bond with the baby.” How do you feel about the weight gain? What have you been craving? What kind of dad will Hank be? Has it changed your sex life? Do you feel prettier pregnant? What’s the best thing about being pregnant? “The greatest thing is probably just feeling like a queen. Everybody does everything for me. And Hank is always just giving me unconditional love – that different type of love that I’ve never felt before.” Holly Madison starts shooting reality TV series Planet HollyFriday, October 16th, 2009E! Entertainment cameras arrived on the Strip last night and began filming “scene set shots by dark” in advance of four days of shooting the first episode of Holly Madison’s new reality TV show this morning. I can reveal that two days — tomorrow and Thursday — will be spent downtown at City Hall in the company of our merry mayor of mirth, Oscar Goodman. Holly, in Mary Tyler Moore comedy style, has her eyes on becoming an intern at City Hall to learn about the politics of Las Vegas. But that’s a ruse, because she admits that she might even run for mayor now that Oscar is termed out and seriously contemplating a run for governor as an Independent. Holly as mayor wouldn’t be a first for our city because one-time car dealer Jan Jones had the job for two terms back in the 1990s, but it sure would be a first for a continuing reality TV series! Contrary to buzz circulating, Holly is not the secret winner of the new reality TV show Face of Vegas that wrapped its four-week filming schedule here over the weekend with Vanessa Minnillo, Carson Kressley and Howard Stern’s wife Beth Ostrosky. However, Holly was seen in last night’s season premiere of ex-boyfriend Hugh Hefner’s The Girls Next Door on E! Part 2 airs tonight and shows Hef’s new gal pals the Shannon twins (Karissa and Kristina) tricked into a crazy adventure among the wax statues at Madame Tussauds in The Venetian. But not necessarily at the Playboy Mansion. The one-time Girl Next Door tells E! News that she’s planning on moving back to California sometime in February and buying her own house in L.A. “It’s such a tease, because I want to be settled,” says Kendra, who moved to Indianapolis with footballer hubby Hank Baskett after he was dropped by the Eagles and picked up by the Colts. “But I have to stay strong for Hank,” she tells E! News. “It’s his job. It was really hard on him when the Eagles released him. I’m here to be his backbone, and though it’s hard on me, I didn’t want to make it hard on him.” One thing making the transition easier? Her hubby’s new teammates have welcomed her into their group. The sports fan is even attending a ladies’ lunch at Peyton Manning’s house on Wednesday. “They’ve all been very sweet so far,” says Kendra. “My first game was two weeks ago, and they were all really, really nice.” And the lack of paps in Indy doesn’t hurt either. In fact, the blond babe says she’s prepping to fend off photogs when she returns to L.A. with her little boy, due in December. “Consider me a mama grizzly bear,” says Kendra. “I’m definitely not going to put up with TMZ s–t at all. If I’m trying to get somewhere and I have my baby, trust me, I will attack.” |
